    http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge%20International%20O%20Level/Chemistry%20(5070)/5070_w10_qp_21.pdf In Q.5 they are asking about the electrolysis of potassium bromide. Why should bromine be produced, when they have not mentioned the concentration of the solution. Shouldnt oxygen be...

    It means that you should write the whole "DILUTE NITRIC ACID" instead of writing 'acidified' which actually means the same thing :P

    I agree with you. They both are not isomers, only a different way of making propene. And who knows which one CIE prefers :/ Wouldnt it be better to write the formula like this : CH3 CH=CH2 like they have shown in one of the marking scheme instead of drawing the whole structure?

    From what I know catalyst do take part in a reaction, (like they are lowering the activation energy.) but they only remain chemically unchanged after a reaction. That's why it is A :/

    o.O Alright... Here you go...:  Integration of (1 + sec2 4x) dx----> x+ tan 4x/4 For limit:  π/16 π/16 + 1/4 tan π/4 = π/16 +1/4 For limit: -π/16 -π/16 +1/4 tan -π/4 = -π/16 - 1/4 Subtracting both: [ π/16 +1/4] - [ -π/16 - 1/4] = 2 π/16 + 1/2 π/8 +1/2 = 1/8 (...

    Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

    I think the question in Nov 11 that everyone is debating about is a little different from that of June 2002. It's asking about the flask that contains alkali...Whose concentration doesnt really matter since we only note the volume of the acid in the burette. That is why only water should be...
