    According to IAS 23 you average the borrowing cost of different years. Like in this case it would be 100000+100000+120000+120000+120000=560000 Divide this by 5 and you'll get 112000 each year :)

    There was a mistake in the question. The debentures were to supposed to be trading at 9.5 not 95. Seems like CIE aren't good at typing questions :p
