    How many hours do you sleep daily during the exam time?

    sleep at 3 Pm in morning wake up at 12 Am at night :) and than study and sleep again at morning at abt 1 to 3 pm :P gave all my papers after being wide awake all night :D

    i am sooo soryyy :P :P LOL you are right i am mixing nitrtite with nitrate :P :P but i did correct in my paper i got +3 oxidation state on nitrogen :P lol sorry :P

    well than your supervisor must be wrong :P cuz NO2 was liberated by FB5 so it was definitely Nitrate :P and FB6 had ammonium and FB7 might have nitrite but am not sure :p and yes gary you are right in all cases :) yes nitrite is a compound you had to write the NON METAL present in FB5 and FB6...

    with Aluminium foil :) it didnt state any use of aluminium foil :) if the paper had said use aluminium foil than it would have surely been nitrite :)

    it was ammonium it gave ammonia gas with NaOH and heating ..... and in Ammonium it NH4+ .... hydrogen has +1 stat and overall is +1 that means total H charge is 4+ so nitrogens is -3 :)

    i WROTE EVERYTHING :P every single obervation i could seee :) . The non metal was NITROGEN ... as it was amonium ion in FB6 and Nitrate ion in FB5 :) and its oxidation states were +3 and -3 :) then my titre values were 15.9 and 23 point something ........ :)

    i dont remember any answers all you had to do was calculate mean and standard deviation and than use the second formula of standard deviation to find X-Xbar whole square.......and to calculate n you had to use natural log .....

    paper was relatively very easy :) but i did two dumb mistakes maximum4 marks gone :( but MA overall good :D but GT for paper might be in mid thirties :)

    lol the guess our teacher made EVERY SINGLE PART EVERY QUESTION came from that :P sooo al i can say is YAAAAAAAAAAY cuz almost all of my friends and me aced it :D

    i am pretty sure you are mixing this up with Aluminium oxide which burns brightly with white flame and gives white powder :) Aluminiums reaction with chlorine on other hand is vigorous giving pale yellow product :)

David Bevan the author it is endorsed by CIE and it is the official guide for A and AS level :) i cant upload pics but am sure you can get it from somewhere and see it for yourself :) but let me assure you that is the correct answer :) or just look it up on...

    LOL :P you actually calculated the MOLES OF H2 gas :) the volume of H2 gas was given :) so you had to change it into number of moles of atoms of H :) only this way did the ratio of alchol and H atoms came 1:2 meaning two H atoms were realsed per one mole of that compund meaning that each mole...

    PEOPLE RELAX :D it was C6H8O7 :P you can calculate the percentage by mass and they gave the EXACT numbers as in the question :) i got C6H8O7 too :)

    i got positive 129 too :\ some of my friends got positive some got negative :P i dont know which ones correct thought but this is the only part where i will loose marks thank God rest waas pretty good :)

    DUDE aluminium does burn with light yellow flame to give rise to pale yellow aluminium chloride you are correct and you dont loose marks here ..... official revision guide for A levels says this :) aluminium chloride is yellow and white too both :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_chloride :P
