Initial mass and final mass. Rate is equal to change in mass divided by time

I dont want to argue much but im pretty sure it said only write ionic formula and it was chloride not chlorine so gas is wrong anyway
  5. Abu mota

    Chemistry P31

They never ask for state symbols it is 1 mark for correct formula and one mark for balanced
  6. Abu mota

    Chemistry P31

Bro it was 3 marks, do it can't be something that obvious
  7. Abu mota

    Chemistry P31

I will and gladly :D first as electrode a was supplied with more oxygen it will have to oxidize first which means it loses mass and the electrons travel through the external curitiba to b these electrons protect it from being oxidized

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

    Hi, mol= vol/24 and so 0.16/24=6.6667x 10^-3 mols then they are in the ratio 1:2 so multiply the mol of oxygen by 2 to give u 0.0133 mols then mass=molxMr and so 331x0.0133= 4.41 g then 4.41/5 x 100=88.2% I hope i helped :D

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

hi, as you know petroleum is extracted using fractional distillation and then u will get large unuseful Alkane which can be broken down to butene by catalytic cracking then add steam at 60 ATM and 300 degrees and phosphoric v catalyst. I hope I helped

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

sometimes they ask for it but rarely and if u studied them before then they are going to be easy :D
  13. Abu mota

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

hi, 450 degree Celsius is used because it is a compromise i.e it makes sure that the rate stays as fast as possible without causing the equilibrium position to move to the endothermic direction which is the backward reaction causing a decrease in the yield. I hope i helped, if u need anything...

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

Hi, i will make it in bulllet points: - first u need to add limestone and hematite and coke - the coke burns and provides heat for the reaction and releases CO2 - the CO2 reacts with more carbon to get carbon monoxide - carbon monoxide reduces the iron oxide to pig iron -limestone decomposes...
