Using calculator calculate values of y from 0 to 2pi ... at 0, .5pi , 1pi , 1.5pi , 2pi and then draw the graph.. More the values of pi... better the graph -

On a graph of cos x u can see that cos x can take all values between -1 and 1 but tan x becomes asymptote(never touches) at -90 .. 90 .. 270 (where the values of cos x are zero) -

cosine isnt undefined anywhere. Its zero at those locations that tangent is undefined... because tan = sin/cos and cosine (a zero at those points) is in the denominator so sinx/0 becomes undefined -

The latest papers are more difficult than papers of 2001-2009.. Because "BACHAY TEZ HOTAY JA RAHAY HAIN" as quoted by our mths teacher.. lol -
Urgent question (AS Maths paper1)
h(x) is valid for x>=3 so h(x) is on the right side of the symmetry. Therefore only keep the positive sign with the radical. I dont know abt the second part ... and dont worry abour range and domain .. that is of just 1 mark. You can still get 73 or 74 :) -

For the given domain, if f(x) is decreasing function, keep the negative sign... if its increasing the keep the + sign. For e.g n07_p1 q11. (v). Calculate g-1(x): g(x)=2x^2 - 8x+11 for x=<2 g(x) = 2x^2 - 8x +11 g(x)=y y= 2x^2 - 8x +11 make x the subject 2(x-2)^2 = y-3 (x-2) = ±√(.5(y-3) For the... -

Well .. at my centre they were filling the solutions like after every hour... and i also dropped some of FA5 (powder) and had to ask for it.. and they gave me the required amount.. but still my paper was not gud enuf!! :((n) -
