    A mole if 6.02x10^23 particles of any substance. It's basically a unit of measurement if you think about it, like a dozen is = 12, a mole is = 6.02x10^23 Hope this helped x)

    Not my answer, found this in another thread where a person asked the same question. "Mark the centre of the cylinder, measure the cylinder. After the measurement, place it on the metre rule. It should cover up the area we measure (for eg. 2cm) So it'll cover the area between 8 - 1o and or 9...

    The reading on the thermometer is room temperature , 22 degrees. It says the water was at room temperature and it rises to 36 degrees, and you have to calculate the temperature rise. 36-22 = 14 Pretty simple x)

    Its 100-36, as 100 degrees is the temperature the metal was at before being placed in the water, and it caused the water to rise to a temperature of 36 degrees.

    1993!??! What the hell are you doing solving past papers from 1993? I didn't even know they existed.. Syllabus was MUCH MORE different back then lol.. start solving from around 2006.

    Could someone with a few minutes to spare, post the SYMBOL equation for the reduction of Iron (III) oxide to iron. Mark scheme just says "Correct equation" .. Need to make sure mine's correct x)
