Really? I thought that it carried three marks, which made me worried a lot. Thanks for informing me XP

Plus, I remember that it was case 2 since there an excess pressure involved. But still no one is sure and we all have weak memories XP. Anyway, does anyone have the PDF that shows the Threshold for the October/November 2012 Physics.

Until we get the PDF of this paper. No one is sure until we get one. I hope someone will get the sample soon for us.

Dude, you can notice that in the diagram there was excess 250mm was given to you. That's the reason you calculate it's pressure first. With that you p(h2) and the p(atm) was given. So, you simply add them.

The first link mentions in Case 2 that was our case "Thus, in this case the pressure of the gas that is trapped in the closed end of the tube is greater than atmospheric pressure by the amount of pressure exerted by the column of liquid of height h." So the pressure is greater than the...

I mention the equation P=I^2 X R. But the answer was wrong. Do you think I will get marks for it?

    Physics Question ( 31 )

Guys for density is it okay to wrote - Density tells how heavy something is? Since I forgot to mention the volume and mass.

    Physics Question ( 31 )

The arrow of the force faces upwards. So, ya it is anticlockwise. Make sure that you keep an upward arrow in it.

    Physics Question ( 31 )

So, you mean that A* is still possible in this case or not? Please give me a better reply XP.

    Physics Question ( 31 )

I got 68/80 in Paper 31 and 36/40 in Paper 61. So, do you think I can still score A* or no?

    Physics Question ( 31 )

I drew the circuit right now and noticed that they were all in parallel. If you notice that the 12 resistance bulbs are in one section and the other 4 resistance is arranged in another section. These two sections are in parallels and in these sections each bulb is arranged in parallel. So 12V...

    Physics Question ( 31 )

How many marks is this voltage thing for? I hope it is not more than 2. Also, how many marks for the current one?
  13. W

    Physics Question ( 31 )

Plus, we can't simply say it is 6V, because the voltage is not usually equally divided to the bulbs. Also, we don't have the current only the resistance so we can't simply it is 6V in that case Xp. Anyway, I'm still confused and idk whether mine is correct too.

    Physics Question ( 31 )

I wrote 12V, but I was confused since the circuit was confusing XP. Did they upload the PDF of the paper like Math here? Since it would be more useful to discuss with them/

What was the question exactly? I want to know what was the question exactly and what did they want. Does anyone remember the question exactly?

Physics 31, If 15 more minutes were provided

Also, you can notice that in Paper 31 May/June 2011. There is a similar question i.e. question no. 3 (b) (iii). They got the excess pressure and then added it to the atmospheric pressure. There is also in Paper 33 October/November 2012 (I think Q3. too).

Physics 31, If 15 more minutes were provided

Actual Pressure = Atmospheric pressure + excess pressure (this is the equation according to my text book and used this in many past test papers done in our school). The pressure in (a) is the excess since it was the pressure of the 250mm. While 2.10x10^5 Pa is the atmospheric pressure. So the...

Physics 31, If 15 more minutes were provided

Guys, about the Paper 31. There was a question that gave us the atmospheric pressure and told us to calculate the pressure (I don't remember the question exactly, but it was the second question in the section with the manometer of 250mm). Does anyone know the question and how it is solved?

Also, I don't remember the question exactly. But, I add the atmospheric pressure + pressure I got in (a) of the question.

Guys, someone please answer to my question about the atmospheric pressure one XP. I honestly can't wait to know the answer. I meant the second part of the question where they mentioned the atmospheric pressure. What was the question exactly and what was its answer. (This is about Paper 31)
