in calculating the energy of the reaction were we supposed to use 50 or 55? -

Least Count/Precision Minimum reading of an instrument which it can record. Eg. Meter rule - 1mm Micrometer screw gauge - 0.01mm Vernier caliber - 0.1mm or 0.02mm or 0.05mm *You have to know the above values, except for the vernier caliber one which i think will be mentioned in the question... -

we can improve accuracy of results by distillation by finding the boiling point and comparing it with the data book value....a nichrome/platinum wire is used in a flame test as its inert -

the usual i guess...a question on flame test/test for halide,titrations,preparing organic stuff,something on thermochemistry...i noticed they gave a question on mass spectra for the first time in jan 2013 i hope they dont bring new stuff or change the style of the paper -
