    No actually, they're judged on the same basis. But if you're doing CIE you're application level will be higher than that of edexcel students, as in you'll be able to cover up your uni courses easily.

    Yeah, I forgot to mention about the modified proteins part, but get the fact clear that it gets eliminated. Basically SES has a function of synthesis of steroid hormones & break down of toxins, so yeah you'll have to chose synthesis. I still don't think it's clear, is it?
