    there's no specific word limit indicated in the mark scheme, so its up to you how much you write.. the time given is not too much, so consume most of your time for writing as the questions from novel require a lot of detail!

    one month, comfortably.. read the book in a week, then 2 weeks past papers and then 1 week for book! and you're ready for an A*!

    can't say anything about french, and accounts.... i did business studies and commerce in less than 2 months comfortably.. maths would require some time as a lot of practice is needed,, in english you just have to learn the formats of directed writing and a few more things so its not a big deal...
