    how was maths P32

I'm pretty sure there was one. There couldn't have been two acute angles, were there two, one would have been obtuse. Oh that. You were required to find the two real roots. It's the second quadratic factor you obtain. The one given doesn't give any real root. I think it was -1 and -3.

    Chill. :) Perhaps polynomial one?

    how was maths P32

Oh, I just read this. Don't worry, you will lose only the answer mark. That doesn't stop you from getting an A*. :) Now, I don't remember the sequence of all the questions. Sorry, I forgot. The one for 0 < theta < 90? There was only one answer. I don't remember this one either. :(

    how was maths P32

P3 was very easy, guys. Many worked well in my school. I didn't discover I made any mistake yet. I don't think they're going to lower the benchmark. Not discouraging you, but if you've other papers, Stats or Mechanics, try to catch up in those. :) For 10) i), the roots were - root 2 + root 3...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

Thank you^. A biryani is a dish, Indian one. It's a cliché we use in my native colloquial language (Creole) to mean a "mess", sort of a confusion, in the sense that in a biryani, all the ingredients are cooked together. Just an expression I used to denote the multiple quotes. :) Have to admit...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

Multiple quoting is allowed here. Hmm... it'll make a biryani if I quote. Eyamwir. I'm not saying that's not good. That helps you move on, surely it's beneficial. :) I've mourned too, the time's over. I put a pause. I'll mourn later when all my papers will be over. Yes, I know it will not...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

Oh wait! I remembered. What makes a good citizen, right? I selected that question at first. It seemed easiest. But then, I remembered what my GP teacher told me. Without adequate illustration, I wouldn't be able to obtain marks in the upper tier. Forget 40. So, I selected the other one. :( But...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

In primary girl. :D I was so dumb with shock that I completely forgot the rest of the questions. What was the citizenship about? Your status is hidden? Seems you're online, but I don't find it below in the list. :) Okay, I found you*. Check your inbox. :)

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

You're Mauritian? Wow, cool. :) And something tells me I know you... Lol, same for me. I thought about 'Apocalypto', loads to write about that movie. And since some people were against its launching, much to balance with too. But when I asked myself who the main actors were, my mind...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

Your nick tells me you're from Pakistan. There were come 'local-type' questions, on Mauritius. There was something about the effects of the crisis on our island... but you know, I prefer international issues. :)

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

I'm from Mauritius. Our GP paper is different from yours. "Rebellion can achieve more than conformity." Discuss. Yeah, pretty tricky for 1h 30 mins. I could only, in that time, impress the examiner with my intro and concluding comment. The rest was: :unknown: There were many, many questions...

GUYS! how was ur gp paper?

I did a topic on rebellion and conformity. When I came outside the examination room, I got to know it was the most difficult topic to choose. :(

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

Thanks for answering. But yeah, that's exactly what I did. Someone told me that because the curve was a circle, we had to divide the answer by 2. I don't get this at all.

Am I taking too many subjects?

It's simple Maths. If you take more subjects, you just have to work proportionately more.

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

Nov 2011 Maths Paper 1 There was a question about finding the volume under a curve w.r.t. the x-axis. First part, I think you've to find the minimum/ maximum point. I didn't get the paper yet, if anyone has it, please post the question.:) And can someone please attempt the question? My answer...

Terrible. The questions were awkward, looks like CIE has discovered how teachers speculate.
