    Physics Paper 3 Help !

    Well you need to explain how modifying R1 will affect the temperature at which the lamp switches on.. You don't write you should use a potential divider, as it is already in use. You need to relate the change in R1 to the rest of the circuit. Ie, as V=IR, if you reduce R it will reduce the...

    Chemistry doubts..ask here!

    Not important for paper 6. This is just a guess here, but maybe a dehydrating agent just removes water? I have no clue.. I know that Sulphuric acid is a drying agent for gasses. Leave it for three hours, then simply run a finger along it? As it says touch dry.

    chemistry doubt p6!!

    As Ammonia is less dense than air, it should be collected the other way round.. Also, as the acid is a drying agent, the first tube rather than the second should be passing through it. Hope I helped (:

    I put colon.. It's wrong. If you check the table, the small intestine had the most water leaving the alimentary canal, and from knowledge it is the small intestine too, as it absorbs more water.. Don't get into an argument again, if you still believe you are right, then you are entitled to, but...

    Chemistry doubts..ask here!

    Wow, haven't ever seen it in paper six.. Basically, amine bond in amino acids etc is NH2 I believe, and the amide bond in polyamides is NHC=O, from the top of my head. I haven't gone over polymers in a while, it's been all about other subjects, but now it's chemistry time :D

    physics help please!!!

    You see that it is a trapezium, and you know the distance is 100m.. So 8x3 = 24 /2 = 12 100 - 12 = 88 For the area of the trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) x height So, h = 11.2, sum of sides = 8 + x 4 + x/2* 11.2 = 44.8 + 5.6x => 5.6x = 88 - 44.8 = 43.2 => x = 7.71m/s (3sf)
