The invigilators, the classes, the big bad-ass UCLES symbol and title on top of the paper.

    Resist the flow. :p

    Chemistry P1 and P2 today

Only first three will be checked, one of the examiner reports said 'apparently, some candidates had a lot of time on their hands; they attempted all 4 questions'. :p

    Chemistry P1 and P2 today

Lol, I try to forget the answers as soon as I finish my paper. I get tensed very easily, even on the littlest of mistakes. :p

    Chemistry P1 and P2 today

In my mocks, I did ALL the papers; ATP's, English, Chemistry, Maths so calmly and easily. Here, everything seems so... awkward, as if I'm giving a paper for the first time!

Just write the things down that you want to discuss on notepad. Copy paste them here tomorrow. The rule's pretty rigid.

 I didn't give much concern to theory questions, I almost always get them perfect ALHUMDULILLAH. The real problem were the MCQ's which I practiced a lot. They went pretty good, ALHUMDULILLAH. :)

    Chemistry P1 and P2 today

Same here. Last 45 min. 3 questions. So I opted for B10 rather than B9.

It's better when you've actually DONE those already. :D I just solved 4 papers (theory), the parts were from them. :D

Well, the paper is past you now. Don't distress yourself over it now. Just say, INSHA ALLAH and pray.
  14. Saad Mughal

    General paper discussion

Well, it was repeated; paper 2 was hell easy as you say and even I was confused, I had 45 min. to do the 3 questions so I left out the longer more descriptive B9.
  15. Saad Mughal

    General paper discussion

You're kidding, right? It was easy enough! Most of it was repeated. I just did a lame mistake (got 1 mcq wrong) and theory was near perfect. ALHUMDULILLAH.

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

Look, simply see that ALUMINIUM is always formed at the CATHODE, and this is only in option C. Waise, it's true, the oxygen at anode reacts with the anode to form CO2.

    Daadi jaan. Aap bhi na! :p Z displaces W. W displaces X. X displaces Y. So, Reactivity is Z>W>X>Y. Answer is C.

Yes, it's attached at the end. Shorter method is to just get a rough estimate. I could tell that the mass in (b) was greater than in (c) and (d) by seeing the composition. Only needed to calculate (a) to be sure.

    Use this formula, Mass of Sulphur = % composition * 10 = Mass of sulphur/Molar mass * 10. For (a) it is, 32/90 * 10 = 3.55 g For (b) it is, 64/120 * 10 = 5.33 g For (c) it is, 64/160 * 10 = 4 g For (d) it is, 32/239 * 10 = 1.34 g Answer is B.
