I think not because we use the same antibiotics over and over again but the antibiotic does affect the bacteria and help us feel better.     i and j represent the number of rows and columns. i = 1 means 1 row, j = 1 means 1 column. Hence, A11 represents a Matrix of order 1*1 (row matrix).
