    Lets take the example.Assume that the sum of squares of variables are 500. Now SD=500/48 - 2.5 square under root =2.04 Then new set of same data Sum of squares of variables X =500+5square+5square=550 SD=550/50 - 2.6 square under root= 2.06

    I read in Pakistan studies examiner report that the qs with the lowest marks is neglected.Dont Know abt statistics.the instructions on the first page tells that " do not attempt more than 4 qs in section B" .But if u have then i think with the lowest marks will be neglected.
