    Chemistry P33 Anions/Cations

This is how the practical for sulphate carbonate test is done. First you a aqueous barium ions. Maybe BaCl2 You will get a white precipitate for all 3 solutions. However for a sulphate the white precipitate won't dissolve in excess acid. So you need to add excess acid to the white ppt. Only the...

    Physics p1 ..wat happened ? :D

    I put f/2 and I think that's right. 1 loop = lamda / 2 2 loops = lamda therefore frequency should become f/2

    Chemistry P33 Anions/Cations

quick summary for everyone. This is for Paper 33 Your Enthalpy of Solution can vary - It depends on the conditions that you were given, like the temperature of the cold water, the room temperature (therefore the amount of heat absorbed by the surroundings), and so many other factors. So even...

    Physics p1 ..wat happened ? :D

it was 2W Equal resistance yes, but one was in series and the other 2 were in parallel.

    Physics p1 ..wat happened ? :D

Density Increases molecular spacing decreases. It's an anomaly of water that the density increases when it melts between temperature 0 - 4 degrees. and since the question said the water contracts it was the hint.

I put A for the rubberband question. But I don't know the answer!

    HOW WAS CHEMISTY PRACTICAL?

For me it went good :) Alhamdulillah I got percentage difference with the real one 9.06% so I think it is ok, but can't say. I may loose some marks here and there in the 1st question around 2 or 3 marks for maybe too high values or too low values. The salt analysis also went good. I couldn't get...

    Computer Paper 3

I'm so underprepared I feel! Not enough time to study P3 with M1 and Phys1 and all the other subjects coming around uuugghh! Last minute studying now! Go through floating point I'm pretty sure it's coming. Memory Management Scheduling -- know the priorities and all Encryption --- being a...

    Physics p1 ..wat happened ? :D

@ashad I don't know about the diffraction. I just did inky pinky polly and i got the answer as increasing the depth of the water :P But the electric field question is that it's downwards in the face of the paper. You have to use Fleming's Left Hand Rule. Current was to the left, magnetic field...

    Physics p1 ..wat happened ? :D

Efficiency one I believe is C which was mv^2 / 2Fs Useful Output Energy = Kinetic Energy = 0.5mv^2 Total Input Energy = Fs :) I think got the iceblocks thing wrong. i thought seperation decreases and density increases. What about that charge going in the circle. I put A as the answer which was 0.

That countdown clock that showed us for the start of the exams. Can we have a similiar one for the end of the exams. Will be very motivating :)

    Physics Paper 1

The diagram shows it as parallel. If it was series then the resistance should be end on end. Like cables connected end of end. Therefore instead 6 1k cables we'll be having 1 6km cable.

ON 08 Q 32 Everything is connect in parallel. There are 6 copper wires each with 10 ohm resistance. If you consider that in parallel you get 10 / 6 = 1.67 Ohms Steel Core = 100 Ohms Both Parallel as well. Therefore ( 100 inverse + 1.67 inverse ) whole thing inverse You get 1.63 Ohms which is B...

    Physics Paper 1

    ON 08 Q11 We need to form 2 simultaneous equations. First we consider the 2k object. Apply F = ma T = Tension 20 - T = 2a ---- (1) Then we consider the 8kg object. T - 6 = 8a ----- (2) Solving the simlutaneous equations gives us a as 1.4 Answer is A

    Physics Paper 1

    ON 07 Q9 They are asking for Vertical displacement after 5 seconds. Consider the first 3 seconds. Displacement is Area under Graph = 0.5 * 3 * 30 = 45 m Consider the next 2 seconds. It's NEGATIVE displacement. Area under graph = 0.5 * 2 * 20 = 20m Therefore final displacement = 45 m - 20 m =...

    ON 06 Q21 Ok P = h$g where P = Pressure h = height $ = density and g = gravitational We know total Pressure is 17.5 * 10^6 Pa We first consider Pressure by Oil P = x * 830 * 9.81 P = 8142.3x Next we consider Pressure by water Here we have to consider height as (2000-x) since we are given...
