P2 can come from topics already given in p1. May june 12. Equity came in P1 as well as p2 so can really expect anything from them. -

We didn't have to, question clearly said use amplitude in cm that means velocity was in cm/s. -

P1 not as good as it should have been :/ But managed somehow, the criminal courts one didn't go so well. What about you? And my teacher tells me to expect delegate legislation for paper 2 or statutory interpretation, precedent, ADR, civil courts and criminal courts again. Sentencing and PACE too... -

I thought the only person to reply, disappeared too. LOL. Well, I haven't actually prepared for P2, my teacher tells me to expect delegated legislation but after the P1 experience I cant really trust them CIE people so just hoping I manage somehow because we skipped a lot of topics at school... -

I guess that will be penalized, not sure though, Its not a strict hard and fast rule to round answers to 3 s.f in stats so most probably they wouldn't deduct marks. -

I read it in Marking schemes too, they don't penalize an answer either way in permutations so as long as you used the right method and obtained the right answer, s.f. doesn't matter :) -

The other guy says I misread the question because if the volume was to stay constant then probably its the other way round :s Cuz I read as volume to be increasing i.e. work being done 'by' the gas, that is negative work done so negative internal energy and temperature decrease but if the volume... -

I believe I read it very carefully and didn't find a thing such but anyways if that's so then you're right. More marks lost :/ -

That's just a general thing, I obviously didn't write that. Used the formula U= q + w and q was zero while w was negative because work was being done by the gas to push back the piston and not on the gas. Hence U was negative, and decrease in internal energy suggests a lower temperature. -

No marks are deducted in permutations questions for not giving answers in 3. s.f -

Wasn't the temp below 297? It was, gas was expanding, it cools on expanding. -

I talked about decreasing and increasing gradients and related it to why this was so like the driver needs to be warned when the fuel is finishing and that in the start of the journey when tank is full he doesn't need such warnings so fuel consumption comes as lower than what it actually is. :s... -
