    principle or core subjects are the subjects that define what you want to pursue. For eg, in order to take chemical engineering, you must have chemistry. So chemistry is the principle subject of that department, for medicine you must have biology, so biology is the principle of medicine, etc.

    Half credited subjects means you only completed AS part (for eg, 1 of 2 papers) of the subject. Full credited means you complete AS + A2 part (both the papers) of the subject.

    Nope. M1 is easier. It actually depends on your interest. M1 is related to physics while S1 to statistics. I like physics more so I find M1 easier.

    It is but you need to get very very high percentile in A2, which is impossible for most of the students. You better give retake in oct/nov (watch out for deadline) or give whole AS+A2 in may/june.
