    RETAKE ..a good idea or a bad one ?

    You can give AS+A2 together in may/june. One of my friends did that he good straight As (not A* mind you). Don't rely on SAT too much. It is difficult and requires good english skills to score high marks.

    SAT 2

    SAT 1 is mostly English. SAT 2 is advance math, chemistry and physics. Engineering universities usually require SAT 2.

    difference between CIE and Edexel

    Edexcel is comparatively easier but it doesn't mean than Edexcel B is equivalent to CIE D. However, it might be possible that CIE A worth a little more than Edexcel A as CIE is more challenging.
