confusion here, please help!

if you solve this 1 = 8 - 12 + 4 - c then you either get -9 or even 1 how do we know which one to do!

Chemistry Paper 1, 2 or 3! Any tips???

Apparently there is very less time in the may/june as exams. and pathetically im appearing for them :P so any tips on chemistry papers....multiple choice or for any paper if you have. any feedback would be appreciated...common ya people out there help us poor souls!!
