university of cambridge based international schools

Which school in particular? Different schools use different syllabuses, unless you're looking for those which offer only Cambridge-based qualifications as you said. In that case, you can find the syllabus for the subject of your choice on the Cambridge website.

Oh I'm starting my AS course this year inshallah. Don't know exactly what my subjects will be because I put in subjects for the iB course but over the summer I changed my mind and thought of doing AS. Probably taking Business, Chemistry, Physics and Math too with Edexcel. Just struggling with...

Pokemon Fans Only<< Random Discussion about Pokemon.

I also used to be an addict, although the only pokemon I ever tried/played was Diamond on the DS. I think at one point I toward I was lucky enough to capture a shiny Uxie (no cheats)! Dialga was my favourite because of how awesome he looks, his size, the fact that he's on the cover and that he...

Help? What AS subjects to choose?

I'd say the best A-Level subjects would be Biology and Chemistry (for medicine) and Mathematics (for both medicine and engineering).

    CS or CE

It depends on what you want to do and what you're good at. Basically, Computer Science is focused on primarily the software and programming side of computers (e.g. programming languages like C, C++, HTML, etc.) while Computer Engineering focuses more on the hardware aspects of computers (e.g...

    Your username ???

Meaning: the first 'a' is because my first name starts with an 'a', and the rest because it's my last name. Reason: long username which confuses many people (which I enjoy :P), plus it's hard to forget :D

    IB?

A-Levels are much easier, but IB pays out in the end. It gives you university credit (you can skip some classes in university) if you do successfully in that respective subject in IB. Everything else I wanted to say is more or less mentioned in Moostafa's message :)

Preparing for the SAT Reasoning Test

I'm curious as to why everyone here is doing the SAT. I mean why doesn't anyone else do the ACT? It's an equivalent qualification to the SAT-I and you don't receive guessing penalties! The science section in it is easy too and plus, the writing section is optional and most universities in my...

    English and A levels ! ^O^

There's the English Literature syllabus (9695), as well as the English Language syllabus (9093). However, the Language subject launched in 2014 so you're out of luck there as there's only literature now.

Help? What AS subjects to choose?

Well I didn't quite pick them yet because I put down my option choices for IB but over the summer I decided to change and go with the AS curriculum instead (so I don't remember the subjects available). But if my school has them and I think they do, I'm taking Physics, Chemistry, math (but I...

Help? What AS subjects to choose?

I'd recommend maths because I think it has a greater element of diversity in it than physics. It's suitable for degrees like Computer Science (e.g. you'd know more about algorithms). But you'd really need to take it at a higher level/advanced because core math won't really do you any good. If...
