at maximum point, the crest and crest meet: so displacement = 1.4+2=3.4 units at minumum point crest and trough meet so displacement = 2-1.4=0.6 I is directly proportional to a² so ratio of I = 3.4²:0.6² = 32.1 Snow Angel

we don't talk about mass in radioactive decays because the mass of a particle is different when they are moving as they move at very high speed. we talk about their energies. E=MC² and their kinetic energy. the energy can be in form of mass or in form of kinetic energy. in A level write...

this is like an animtion to help you see what happens. *lighter ball stops at maximum point (instanenously at rest) then moves downwards. it's acceleration after heaver ball hits the ground is 10 m/s²

that change is for every 1 meter. 4.2mm/m (4.2 mm per one meter) for 0.62 meters the change will be 0.62 meter *4.2mm/meter = 2.6 mm

both objects have different speeds. they will reach maximum height at different time. when A will be at maximum height B will still be moving. we don't know the speed of B at that time so can't use that formula. but we know that when A is at max the time is 0.5s. so we can find it's displacement...

you are talking about displacement of B when A has reached maximum height? you can't use that formula without finding final velocity of B at the point when A is maximum. initial velocity is 8 but final velocity is not zero for B.

where we multiply meter by mm? we say 0.012 mm decrease per kelvin. so 0.012 mm/K * 350 K =4.2mm
