    They can. There are lots of possibilities. The best and safest thing you can do is to know all three (Access, Excel and Word) as well as possible and then hope for the best.

    I think you meat spreadsheet. Anyways, I don't think there is any specific reason for this. MS Access stuff are as important as Excel and Word. Check out 2010 May exam paper 2, it has all three.
