    Yes but I took it further to find the equations of both tangents and then their point of intersection by solving them simultaneously. x and y coordinate was same so I wrote hence, it is proved.

    Yeah it shouldn't HAVE mattered but the answers coming are different if we use either of the signs and both of the answers are mathematically correct when they are put back into the equation Plz solve it urself once using both + and - and then tell me what's ur answer
