how was the physics atp 5054/42 may/june 2014

my teacher told me today that such a graph is not possible as even adding zero(0) rubber bands to the rod will make the rod float as the rod has its own weight as well..... maybe if "origin" was written(which i did not see) it was to start the marking of scale from "0".....(which also my teacher...

i agree!! it talks about marking the axis

    >>Physics ATP Questions Help!!

i have a few questions about the physics atp we just gave first of all was the graph a straight line? or did it start from the origin? Q1:why did the ammeters gave slight different reading?[2] my answer:"they may be having slight zero errors i.e needles pointed a little ahead or behind zero...

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

i wrote about zero error that they might have their needle ahead or behind zero........ leading to different final readings......

Guys i have guess for 2moro's english paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most likely not, but it depends on the examiner.......

    Physics ATP disussion

can the answer of different readings on ammeters be "the ammeters may have slight zero errors i.e the needles of ammeters pointed a little before or ahead of zero leading to slight differences in reading" ?????

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

    oxygen is 20% in air when a sample is 100cm^3 the oxygen in it is 20cm^3 so when air 80cm^3 then,,,, 80 x 20/100= 16 cm^3 so yea remaining gas = 80-16=64 cm^3 :)

how was the physics atp 5054/42 may/june 2014

i think it said "mark your scale from the origin" one of my friends told me this. but if its wrong then i can just pray for the best :/

how was the physics atp 5054/42 may/june 2014

are you 100% sure it said to start from origin? cuz i saw it said "plot the line of best fit" furthermore, there was no point 0,0 in the table, which we had to plot........

    Silly mistakes in cie

Bro this is english, i know and yes you made a terrible mistake but last year a friend of mine, in islamiyat answered two questions on different answer spaces and got a U in that component..... maybe it's different with english.... you can now only pray...........(y)

K,Na,Li,Ca,Mg,Al,Zn,Fe,Pb..... react with dilute acids. Cu,Hg,Ag,Au,Pt...... do not react with dilute acids...

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

i think it is incorrect.... first in the last 10 year papers i never saw cobalt chloride paper written in marking scheme of "physics".Secondly, cobalt chloride paper will add extra mass to the rod which will make "l" smaller in value, leading to inaccuracy..............

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

no i read it ten times, it said "three identical ammeters were used at the points shown in the circuit. all three gave slight different readings " give a reason for the differences..............

there is no problem with 37 extra words you can relax :)

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

the ammeters were identical.... their resistances would be same..... but who knows what the examiners say so lets just chill .....:)

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

three ammeters kiyay thay yarrrr..... they said "why the three ammeters have different readings"

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

naiiiii sarey ammeters kay different zero errors bhi tou ho saktay hein.....

HI FREINDS HOW WAS THE PHYSICS ATP GCSE O LAVEL?

this is what zero error is...... needle when behind, its negative... when ahead, its positive zero error....
