    AKU entry test

Yeah! It is. But FSC Biology is all about cramming. :)

    AKU entry test

You don't need to remember the name of scientists or the dates or stuff like that. Check out the last two MCAT exams to figure out what kind of questions could be asked. You'll have to make a lot of judgement calls about what to learn and what not too. You'll have the syllabus with you but at...

    Actuarial Sciences!

pakiboy: The best place for Actuarial Sciences is pretty much England right now. And LSE is the best possible university for this degree. But anyone's chances of securing a scholarship in England are very bleak. They can give you a relaxation on the grades they require in A'levels but they...

    AKU entry test

I'm telling you from experience. AKU is the only medical university with an exam in June. And like I said FSC syllabus isn't a necessity for it.

    AKU entry test

68% in sciences and 55% in english. My advice: No! It'll be useless unless you have good grades in A'levels. You'll have enough time after your finals for the FSC syllabus. But if you have time right now and you want to spend the last two months of your freedom while studying then its your...

I've no idea about that. But I don't think there should be a problem.

    AKU entry test

It's basically the FSC syllabus. AKU has an examining body that provides a similar qualification to that of FSC. And the syllabus posted there is of that. But once again let me remind you that there is not much of an advantage in doing very well in the AKU test. I have seen people with 69% make...

    Distinction.

Haha! What an argument. I think the topic should be locked as the initial question has been answered. :) Hence, TOPIC LOCKED!

Further Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

Sorry to say, but there is no good book for CIE Further Maths. You can check out the Bostock and Chandler book. Or you can check the ACA notes but no book covers the CIE syllabus of P1. For P2 you can use the simple Maths Statistics and Mechanics books but that they also don't cover the details...

It is out but CIE hasn't officially published it. So you'll have to wait a while until the results are announced.

Further Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

There is not a single book covering CIE further maths syllabus. It's a huge problem for us. And about the second part, that is exactly what is happening in this topic. Just check out the previous pages. :)

Further Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

For a square, the symmetrical effect makes it very easy to find the MOI about its diagonal. Just find the MOI about the axis perpendicular to the square lamina at its centre. Which is simply 2ma²/3. Now apply the perpendicular axis theorem i.e. I(z)=I(x)+I(y ). But since this is a square it will...

    AKU entry test

Yes. You guys are at an advantage. I hade to pause my A'levels preparation for a week in order to read the SAT2 books and stuff because our AKU exam was on the 8th of April, less than a month before our finals. And just for your information, this extra preparation was useless as I was still not...
