    Read the chapter from Chris Mee's book. Then reinforcing the chapter from Pacific volume 2 or other books can be quite useful too! That's what my school teacher told me to do. I haven't started studying waves from Pacific volume 2 that thorougly though , it's still good in Chris Mee's book!

    Assalamu alaikum, I sometime scored tops in school monthly exams and even mid-year exams in O level. But I usually screw something up in the CIE exams, like making a mistake which I often avoided througout the session. Any suggestions?? How to score an A?? I had a score on CIE of max 77% in O...

    CIE Physics textbooks

    Pacific Volume 1 and volume 2, A level Physics by Chris Mee and also Roger Muncaster. Roger Muncaster can look slightly out of syllabus, considering the words used in the definitions in it, but it's an awesome book for clearing concepts. I suggest you use Pacific volume 1 and volume 2 as the...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

    Young modulus = Stress/Strain E = F/A/delta l/l therefore E = 60/pi r^2/delta l/l therefore E = 60/pi (d/4)^2/delta l/l Equating both the Young modulus, since the wire is of the same material; therefore 60/pi r^2/delta l/l = 60/pi r^2/32/l/4 therefore l = 8mm Ans C Note: In this question, the...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

    Assalamu alaikum, Young modulus = stress/ strain therefore Young modulus = F/A/delta l/l therefore Young modulus = Fp l/A delta l therefore E = Fpl/delta l => Fp = A delta le/l Young modulus is represented by E and Fp represents the Force on wire P; therefore E = Fq (2l )/(A/2) delta l => Fq =...
