    manometer is a u-shaped tube wid mercury(or ny other liquid) inside. if u insert one end inside a tank of a higher pressure dan atmospheric pressure, da level of da mercury on the other end will rise. da pressure inside da tamk is equal to 76cm of mercury plus da height difference of mercury...
