    Physics Momentum AS QS! Help!

Your doing initial momentum - final momentum right? isn't momentum change = final momentum - initial momentum? and btw, is it wrong if we write -1.33 ? (cause the ms doesnt mention anyting about it :( )

Thanks but the thing is shouldn't we include the direction aswell?

    Physics Momentum AS QS! Help!

Please explain this qs to me!: (Number 3(bi)) http://www.xtremepapers.me/CIE/Internat ... _qp_21.pdf I thought that the change in momentum is = mv - mu If I do that, I get -1.33, while the ms gives +1.33 Help? MS: http://www.xtremepapers.me/CIE/Internat ... _ms_21.pdf This is not the only...

I'd say use the Extreme values method for uncertainty! It saves time and is easier (atleast for me :) )

    Physics AS Nuclear section HELP!

Ok, so nuclear decay is random and spontaneous. The fluctuations in the geiger meter indicates that nuclear decay is a random and spontaneous process right? And, the half life of a radioactive substance is uncertain because nuclear decay is random, or random AND spontaneous? :Search:

    Help on Uncertainty needed!

No, look at the ms carefully and you'll see that they say only 4 marks for 2.69 ± 0.09 g cm-3 The uncertainity is +- 0.18

How did Phy Paper 31 go?

Yeah! I got 53.3 and a friend of mine got 53 aswell! Many guys forgot to convert the mA to A..

    How did mechanics go?

Apparently yeah! I wrote 10 at first, then had a funny feeling, and as the examiner came to collect my paper, I just scratched out the 10 part, and left 5! :) And yeah, you'll get the method marks! :good:

How did Phy Paper 31 go?

I think it was a decent paper! The rheostat looked scary, but the paper told you exactly what you had to do! 8) 8) :Yahoo!: 8) 8)

    SOS!!! MAYDAY!! HELP NEEDED!!

No one knows what comes for theory papers! PS: It would help if you'd put the subject or what you want to know, in the topic title, rather than just saying help and all.! :)

    How did mechanics go?

There was a queston with a ring involved! The one with the triangle with sides 50, 50 and 80! (paper 42) Can someone tell me the tension in the string for that question PLEASE!!!!!!

    INFO on Phy Prctical 31?

Yess!!! it was a good paper!! Thankfully, the rheostat had only 2 inputs and the paper told us exactly what we had to do!

I just guessed that one, and I checked on the net, apparently calcium nitrate plus potassium sulfate = pottasium nitrate plus calcium sulfate! :Search: And yeah, the ethanoide thing in the gas is to alert people if the gas leaks! lol drinking butane! :D

    INFO on Phy Prctical 31?

On man! making cylinders!? and a rheostat!?? hopefully the cylinder question is something to do with oscillations! but i'm guessing i'll probably have to ask for help in setting up the rheostat section of the circuit! :( Is that taken as minor or major help??
