    No change in momentum was -2mv.... because it was travelling in the opposite direction..... and the formula for change in momentum is final momentum minus initial momentum..... in this case final momentum is -mv and the initial momentum is mv..... hence... change= -mv-mv whic equals to -2mv...

    Guys.... in question number 2.. for finding distance travelled by the stone in one part I messed up and used the value of velocity instead of gravity by mistake.... so my answer came 23m......thus my answer for displacement came -7.66m..... how much mark will i lose for this..? and for finding...

    i guess, the weight is countered by the vertical component of the tension and a force at R but at P the force should be such that it can counter the horizontal component of the tension. So that the resultant force is zero.

    Bro... i made a mistake in calculating the distance.... like for a certain part while the stone was falling we had to calculate the distance and by mistake i multiplied the time with velocity instead of acceleration...so got the distance to be 23.As a result got the displacement to be 7.66...

    first i gave D... but just before submitting changed it to A.... i thought that mass flow doesn't actually relate to water and xylem... it's more appropriate for phloem i guess..... let's see what happens.... :) What did you give?

    For bio P2 it will be around 40 and for chemistry around 46-47..... Bio Gt is always low.... last year it was only 36.... hope it will be low this year as well.... :) the xylem and phloem question was question number 23.....

    well... i thought.... h>90 so, 60(1-coskt)>90 or, 1-coskt>(90/60) or, -coskt>1.5-1 or, -coskt>0.5 or, coskt<-0.5 or, kt<cos-1(-.5) hence, t<cos-1(-.5)/k this gives t<10. so my answer is also correct ryt....? my result shows that for about less than 10 mins the wheel was above 90. :) not...
