actually this doesn't have any proper formula...in the chemistry 'revision guide' also it is mentioned that it is better to draw the molecular formula rather than using a formula... OR another solution, as mentioned by wooowooowoo that learn it for methane, and for others 'subtract' one...

Assalam-o-alaikum wr wb... this formula doesn't work :unsure: it is better to 'make' it in order to find the molecular formula... BCOZ the C in "COOH" also counts in " Cn H2n+1 " as the molecular formula for Methane is HCOOH but according to this formula it is CH3COOH

in circuit 2...if you see, AB and BC are both in series where as CD is parallel to both...take this information into consideration and make another circuit diagram. did you get it now? :unsure:

well....if you see the question..i.e circuit 2...in that resistor A and D aren't connected...in the above diagram, they are! how are they? with an additional lead :)

V is 'normally' in parallel...but in this case you have to draw EXACTLY what's there in the question...and it won't be attached to the resistance wire, cuz in the original diagram it isn't and sure..lemme have a look :) it's okie...no need to thank and i used paint.. :)

Assalam-o-alaikum wr wb... In estimation..you have to round it off to 1 significant figure (as written in the examiner report of the same paper) in this case... Volume = lbh = 5.8cm* 6.0cm * 0.2cm = 6.96cm3 which you can round off to 7 hope you got it :unsure:
