    HELP

Islamiat has pretty big syllabus from what I remember so you need to start early if want to complete it. In my experience, you just have to learn a lot of stuff in Islamiat. As for English, I mean, come on, you don't need to do anything. Unless its literature, in which case, I wouldn't know. But...

    A Level Exams

Try to do at least 15 full past papers. Ideally, you should do past papers from the last 5 years. For Chemistry MCQ's I remember, I looked at around 10 years papers. Mind you, just looked. Our Chemistry Sir made a frickin MCQ topical with detailed answers for every MCQ that he wrote himself. The...

which is better A level or AS

Not sure if this is a troll or not, but just in the off case it isn't, AS is part one of A-Level. A-Level is the whole thing.

    A Level Exams

Cant say about Bio, didn't give it. Chemistry is 75% ratta and 25% application of knowledge. If your ratta is good, your paper will be good. In Physics, concepts must be clear. The only real conceptual paper in A-Level (science subs).

    Help in Islmiat and PakStudies.

First off, how does he know he dropped to a B due to his writing? CIE doesn't tell you this sort of stuff. And secondly, when it comes to writing, show your material to a few people and ask them if they can read it. You have a problem when they can't make out the words or reasonably infer them...

    Why Did I Get A B In Islamiat ;(

Only you know what you did wrong. Sometimes you think a paper is easy and you feel like you did really well, but the result turns out totally different. The only thing I can think of would be to mentally go over your answers and see if they truly answer the question. Maybe confer with some laik...

Maths AL or AS in mayjune? need suggestion

Only go for it if you're good at Math. A-Level maths isn't particularly difficult since the questions are set in similar styles to those in the past papers, so getting a decent grade all boils down to how much practice you can do, but most people find it difficult so try to gauge your competency...

    AS Level Grade Thresholds 2016

They won't be released for a few weeks. Look at the thresholds for previous years, they'll pretty much be similar, no matter how tough someone tells you a paper was.

    Easiest O-Level Subjects

Environmental Management. If you're even half decent in Geography, you can easily get an A*. It's all conceptual. I read like a quarter of the book and skimed through one past paper. Ended up with an A*.

    didnt get the correct results.

It's usually very rare to see a rechecking yield a better result. But if you're absolutely sure you did better, you can definitely go for it. Go for the recheck in which they send you your marked paper so you know exactly how your grade came about.

Are these calculators allowed in CIEs?

No one checks calculator models. Just bring in any that doesn't look conspicuous.

    Computer Science Notes/Resource/Pastpapers

Download the Cambridge book of Computing. It shares some syllabus elements with Computer Science. But generally, having given the paper last year, just make sure you know the syllabus. If you can't get notes on a topic, use Google.

    Information required for Cambridge A-levels.

You need Biology, Chemistry and Physics in A-Levels to apply for Medicine. Math will be an extra and won't count, but people take Maths so they can also apply for Engineering too. Personally. I wouldn't recommend doing A-Levels for Medicine in Pakistan. It's really tough to break into a...

    Subjects required for software engineering

Check the requirements for the university you want to apply for, but absolutely do not skip out on Chemistry. I'm not exactly sure if Math, Physics and Computer Science is an actual subject combination on which you can get the IBCC equivalence but you can get admission into any computer related...

To those who have done AS LEVEL ( bio, Chem and phy) privately in Lahore

Yeah, no worries. Thousands of people give O/A-Levels privately. Besides, your actual Cambridge Certificate only mentions your names and grades so you shouldn't face any issues.

That friend is actually in A2 right now since my post is only a few weeks old :P. Anyhow, in terms of difficulty, I can't say much about Biology, but for Physics and Chemistry you'll need to put in some hardwork. Check this post to get a basic idea: https://goo.gl/KrdBLv

To those who have done AS LEVEL ( bio, Chem and phy) privately in Lahore

Yep, you can. Not sure what the process is, maybe someone else can walk you through that, but you just need to register for these subjects and you'll be given your statement of entry and assigned an examination center, where you'll be giving all your papers. You should look here...
