    4x^2- 7x-1/ [x+1][2x-3] = A+ {B/[x+1]}+{C/[2x-3]} Now multiply x+1 on the R.h.s which will give u 4x^2-7x-1/[2x-3] then, substitue x=-1 to get B. Repeat the same for C, but thn now multiply the R.h.s with [2x-3] so here x= 3/2 to find A, substitute any num, say for example x= 0 on either sides...
