    A lvl results help please

They dont calculate your grades by average. Your total marks (68+38=106) will be compared to the grade threshold and you will the awarded the matching grade. 100+ would probably be D this time given that the 32 was a bit unusual this time.

    Computer Science May/June 17 - 32

No way hahaha It was horrible. Not only for me but it was extremely unanticipated for most of the people in my centre

    Computer Science May/June 17 - 32

I am not really worried about the 1st and 3rd answer. But on second answer, I will probably get 0/3. I never noticed "different" file organisation.

I might have written sequential for first one and two randoms for last two. 3 marks gone :(

Thats the only thing we can do :( Very low amount of resources in CS.

I can't really remember but Im sure I wrote random on last one. Do you remember the question ? If you do, I might recall the answers xD And Good to know that you wrote 33. It was too easy of a question and that had me thinking for 10-20 mins, if its that easy or I am doing something wrong :p

    Computer Science May/June 17 - 32

For the assembly language question, I wrote 33 for the last question of part 1. Also, the last question had the answer in question itself.

How did the paper go ? There were good number of repeat questions. Anyone remember the loop question answer ? I wrote Forever = True. Then, repeat until Forever = False

    Mechanics 52 - 2017 May/June

Anyone remember the answers ? I got 0.8m on the first center of mass question. On the question where it asked to describe motion of particle at A, it was horizontal.

    How was 9709/32 maths P3 ?

Thats way too high considering this year's weird question. Most of the A* deserving student will miss their A* if its 227/228. It should be around 200-210 (lowest I have seen is 209 with p1/p3 m1/m2)

    HOW WAS CHEMISTRY P42 MAY/JUNE 2017 (POLL)

    (0.03-0.0054) / 3 = 8.2 x 10^-3

    HOW WAS CHEMISTRY P42 MAY/JUNE 2017 (POLL)

You took the remaining moles to calculate Mr and I took the initial no of moles in 1g acid to calculate Mr. I calculated 1/(8.2 x 10^-3) = 122

    HOW WAS CHEMISTRY P42 MAY/JUNE 2017 (POLL)

Mr was 122 afai remember. R was C6h5 most probably

    HOW WAS CHEMISTRY P42 MAY/JUNE 2017 (POLL)

I hope the threshold is 40-45 for A. The worst gt I have seen was 48 but this year, it seemed to be one of the hardest question ever made. It was really hard to complete such a question within 2 hours. It was like a 2.5-3 hours paper.

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

Thank you. We'll know at 11th.

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

You varied frequency of "Power Supply". Question asked about frequency of turntable (number of complete rotations / second)

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

I am afraid you forgot to measure frequency of turntable in your answer. However, since p5 only accounts for a small percentage of A levels, getting good marks in p4 is the main thing.

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

I did the same mistake in AS when I had a panic attack and used x2-x1/y2-y1 . However, dont worry, you should get the ECF marks if the methods in later questions are correct.

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

Sorry buddy, its just my opinion but I think that in your answer you used variable frequency signal generator, no problem with that. You can change rotational speed using that. No problem here either. However, as I mentioned before, in your answer, you are varying the frequency of power supply...

    How did Physics M/J '17 52 go?

I thought of the same thing at first (circumference or 2 pi/ time ) and even wrote it on paper but then realised that circumference / time = velocity . While 2 pi / time = ANGULAR VELOCITY. Frequency should most probably be 1 / (time taken for one complete rotation of turntable)
