2014 grade thresholds?

What do you think the grade thresholds will be this year for IGCSE Maths, English as a second language, Biology and Physics and chem we'll see when the papers finish and O levels Urdu. What do you guys think?

I really hope the math threshold is low, do u think it will be?

I hope in sha Allah the gt of maths will be low fingers crossed by the way maths paper was a shi* for me.

Yes it was omg don't even remind me it was horrible. I finished bio v1 today and I hated paper 3 so much

For the Bio IGCSE the latest grading threshold (2013) stated that to get an A* you need to get 144 for the paper 12,32,62 option (CY Option). But just above that table they stated the maximum marks possible to be gained is 200 but there are only 160 marks available (40 for paper 12, 80 for paper 32, 40 for paper 62)

your total out of 160 will be multiplied by 1.25 so that they get 80% whole numbers which is an advantage to us

Ahmed madani So if someone got 120 in last year's bio igcse exam that means they would have gotten an A* (120 x 1.25 > 144). And does this apply to all igcse subjects when the maximum mark possible is greater than the sum of all the marks of the individual papers.

I'm really not sure,but our school teacher mentioned that the results out of 160 *Mainly biology and physics* are multiplied 1.25 so that MOST of the results are whole numbers and avoid small fractions
