1aiii). Reaction force is the resultant force. Therefore the answer is : GMm/(R)2 - mR(w)2 , according to the questions (ai & aii).
1bi). The equatorial diameter is more than the polar diameter. Hence the radius is constantly changing. Therefore the normal reaction
has different values at the poles & the equator.
1bii) 1. Use the formula, a=r(w)2
2. At the poles the component of radius becomes zero, therefore acceleration is also zero.
