So I was solving October/November 2011 Paper 2 and in step 13, I used the IF statement and got the right results while in the marking scheme they've used a totally different method using INT statement. What I want to make sure is that will the examiner give me the marks? I know he should because my method is totally viable too but since the marking scheme didn't have any indication to using a different formula, I was just curious. Normally I would just adopt the marking scheme method but it seemed quite lengthy and I'm into programming so I'm really used to IF statements.
