Was the Cripps mission in 1942 the most important factor during the 1940's that led to the partition of the sub-continent in 1947? Give reasons for the answer.

Was the Cripps mission in 1942 the most important factor during the 1940's that led to the partition of the sub-continent in 1947? Give reasons for the answer.
1. Lahore Resolution 1940
2. Cripps Mission 1942
3. Gandhi-Jinnah Talks

Conclusion = Lahore Resolution was the most important as it decided the future of the subcontinent. The Resolution for Pakistan became the sheet anchor of all negotiations in which Jinnah played an effective and important role. Muslims had welcome it with great amazement and hope for better future.
