just a few tips for argand diagram:
1) mod.z < =a, then the circle should be shaded
2) mod.z < a, then the circle should be shaded+dotted boundary
3) (mod.z -(a-bi)) = (mod.z), then, line should be dotted
4) (mod.z-(a-bi)) < (mod.z), then the line as well as the perpendicular.bisector should also be dotted
5) if the above is true when z=0, shade in the 'origin' side

but not sure about no.4. what happens if (mod.z-(a-bi))<=(mod.z)?? should the perpendicular bisector line be dotted? same as no. 4? ppl, write up..

yeah, dotted circles needed. what i meant in the 5th point is, when we draw a line, the origin lies either above or below the line. if the eqn turns out true when we substitute z as 0, shading is done in the part where the origin lies..

i just found out abt it yesterday... i dont think the mark schemes would be that specific tho... wat did u shade??

lol its okay.. nothing anyone can do abt it now.. lets hope the examiner by mistake damages our papers then he will have to give us full marks.. :D or something like that...
idk man! i just hope my grade doesnt drop further... InshaAllah :)

actually they should be dotted but i cheked in earlier past papers and they dont reduce marks for the dots
so thats good
