So remember that starch is a complex molecule, which makes it difficult to pass through the membrane but, when its broken down into its simpler components, i.e, glucose molecules, then the latter can pass through. ^^THANKYOUU SO MUCH I had no idea about how starch could not pass through the partially permeable membrane
