Can somebody please explain me the whole DNA replication and protein synthesis?

I'll be very thankful. please, help!

There are a few things to remember in DNA replication.
1. The DNA double helix strand unwinds with the hydrogen bonds between the two strands broken by the enzyme DNA helicase. So two single strands are formed.
2. Free nucleotides are activated which are attracted to the complementary bases on each of the single strands formed. One by one bonds are formed between the nucleotides on the single DNA strand and the complimentary nucleotides by the DNA polymerase enzyme.
3. As a result two separate double strands are formed. Since the new double strands of DNA molecule contain one strand from the parent DNA molecule and the other strand coming from free nucleotides, this type of replication is called Semi-Conservative replication. Once again the reason to call it such is that the new double strand contains one old strand from parent DNA and one new strand. So making two new double helical DNA molecules.

Codon is a unit on a RNA molecule consisting of three adjacent basis that codes for a specific amino acid during protein synthesis. Codon is only found on RNA and can be reffered to as the three adjacent base code on mRNA specifically. On DNA the code of three adjacent bases is simply called 'triplet base unit'.
Anti-codon is the triple base unit on the tRNA molecule that is corresponding to the the Codon on mRNA. For eg if Codon is UAC then the corresponding anti-codon will be AUG... And the corresponding 'triple base unit' on DNA is ATG.. where U is replaced with T.

A triplet code found on messenger RNA (mRNA) is always known as CODON! While the triplets on transfer RNA (tRNA) are always known as ANTICODON!
