It means that u'll be studying software engineering most of the times and that the degree won't be of an engineering degree. More precisely, u won't be an engineering according to the criteria set by PEC - Pakistan Engineering Council.
However, CIIT has a good name in this field. And the field itself has a very good scope in near future.
