A Level. I sat C1, C2 and S1 in May last year and got a B in S1, a low A in C1 and an A in C2, so retaking S1 and C1. I have M1 in a week and C3/4 in June.
Im taking c1,c2,c3,c4,m1,m2 this jan for the first time
I don't know what to do with the rest of papers when I making many mistakes in the easiest ones (c1,c2)....they were my only hope to get a good grade in the A-level :(

Oh my God, how can you do so many exams?! I only have 4 in total (C1, S1, M1 & Accounts) and I don't even have enough time for those! Good luck. D:
For maths I just do past papers and hope for the best lol :( I find I make more mistakes in C1 because I do view it as "easy" and do it quickly, leading to little mistakes. In the exam today on the integration question, I decreased a power instead of increasing it. I noticed and went and changed it but little errors are where I lose my marks.

Lol ..I think i did the opposite of what you did in a differentiation question increased the power instead of decreasing
I had the same problem too in c1 & c2 as I view them as easy papers which leads to silly mistakes

For the second question, what did you get?! I had no idea how to do it and just battled through it any way I could, 99% sure I was wrong though.

Guys for the integeration questions what did you get for c ? was it -7 or 7 ? forgot which one

it was eventually -1/4+4/5+something+c=7 i think so 4/4 is equal to 1 maybe u didnt simplify the fraction
That looks familiar, maybe I'm thinking of another question! Or I just equated it wrong, oh well. :c Which question # was that?

i think before the last one it was to integerate and the point which the line passes through was x=1 y=7 i think

Oooh I remember! I'm thinking of an earlier question I think. I can't really remember what I got, but I differentiated it back and got the original equation (but obviously that wouldn't have checked my c).

completting the square was 4(x+1)^2 -1 i think

That's what I got! Yay. :3
mm the 2^y we just multiplied the equation we had above the 8 with 3 so i think 6y+3 or smthn it became
the sigma notation i found A1 when i added them up messed up a digit :S although it just a mark
the graphs u just shift it down and u draw a line which cuts x axis at -0.5 and y axis at 2 or something positive forgot
asypmtote becomes y=-5
the quadratic graphs lowest point -1,-1 it cuts at -0.5 and -3/2 and y at 3
the nth term was 17 the total point 6600 and the question above 120+(19*20)
the area of tirangle i got 49/4 point Q had a 9 or 4 in them forgot which exactly :p but u just equate derivative with 3/2
the first question x(2x+1)(-2x+1)
thats all i can remember :p

I got more or less the same, except for Q1 and finding Q on the final question. Hopefully won't have dropped too many marks. D:

Also, someone on twitter said there had been a misprint on the discriminant question? They said it said there was 2 roots but then wrote < 0. Am I right in saying you had to begin with b^2-4ac > 0 then change the signs of the equation to get it < 0?

yes because its -4x^2 u have to divide by negative one and change the inequality sign and find k's then choose the area inside which is smaller than 6 and bigger than 2 i think

I think my inequality was -2 < x < 6, haha. Oooops again.
