Calculator Crisis

I was informed that only graphical calculators were not allowed in the CIE exams. Today the invigillator took the calculator: Fx-991ES, from about 10 candidates including me; then later returned them after giving a warning that these will not be given back next time. He said they had a computer chip of some sort and could store formulas and could do quadratic equations. I have been using this calculator for about 2 years now and cannot adapt to the old MS calculators which donnot have a notebook layout. Please tell me which calculator should I buy for myself which will be allowed in the examinations and has the notebook layout for fractions, under roots, and power.

'Fx-82ES' and 'Fx-82ES Plus' should do fine and they are officially allowed!
