Calling everyone!

I have received a grade A in AS Maths, with a percentage uniform mark of 80%. Supposing that I get 70/75 in P3 and 45/50 in M1, could I achieve an A*? Does my low percentage mean that I cannot get an overall A* because not enough marks would add up?? How does CIE award A* at A2 Maths?? Do I stand a chance?? Please could someone clarify this!!

I'm sorry if i'm late. I'd suggest give it again if you're aiming for an A*. From the past few sessions the checking has become extremely strict

I got 100 in Math AS and I gave M1 and P3 in my A2. Im pretty sure i got 50/50 in M1, and i mean PRETTY SURE. I might've lost 5-6 marks in P3 and
my overall percentage of AS and A2 math was 94%. So with 80 in AS, aiming for an A* is very very difficult. GOod luck

Thanks. Out of curiosity, which year did you take the A2 Maths?? Would aiming for an A grade be more realistic, or is an A grade overall still very difficult to achieve with 80%??

With 80% from your As and with the marks that you mentioned for P3 and M1 you will definitely get an A ( an A not A*). But be sure to obtain the marks that you mentioned above. A is also an awesome grade but if you are desperately aiming for an A* then retake the As portion and be sure to obtain 85%+ this time.
