why is the answer 1 only..........i think 3 also represents.......

enthalphy change of combustion is when one mole of compound is burnt while enthalpy change of formation is when one mole of compound is formed from its elements!! Only 1 satisfies these two conditions...

no the third one is not formation as formation is from of a compound from its elements and clearly CO is not an element
