(4) It says that a deposit was formed in all 3 test tubes........means the metal put into the tubes was obviously more reactive than the one in solution (ions)
according to the figure mg >cu n metal N >cu n metal N <mg ............means that the metal N must be between magnesium and copper in reactivity so........it must be ZINC

(6) In the impure copper anode loses mass and copper cathode gains mass so its mass increases as pure copper is deposited on it and after some time the mass remains same cuz the question says that it was continued until no further change took place

For 4... I got that part that the metal displaces the ones in the solution but aluminum is also between magnesium and zinc in the reactivity series.. why isn't it that.. unless I'm not getting something here. :(

The charge on an aluminium ion is +3, not +2 which is indicated on the diagram. :)

Yes! You're welcome. :) The usual advise is: Read the stem of the question very carefully and study the diagrams thoroughly (especially for MCQs).
