the total marks for all papers are 160 but CIE's grading is from 200. if you would like to calculate your percentage mark then do the following. find the percentage mark of p1 from all papers which is 30% then multiply 30 with your approximate mark in p1 say 38/40 to find the percentage mark of p1 out of all papers then repeat the same procedure with the two other papers. p3 accounts 50%, p6 accounts 20% and p1 accounts 30%

No you can't, since each paper has a different percentage mark from the total subject mark. for example p1 accounts for 30%. also p1 and p6 have the same total marks but they account for different percentage marks, so i wouldn't advice you to use that method because it's inaccurate and unreliable.

Based on the survey above, it is estimated that the mean value for the GT's will be 159/200.
