@wellwisher..i also checked the er http://www.xtremepapers.me/CIE/Internat ... w07_er.pdf it also didn't help..so i guess as the question says :Use the Data Booklet to identify relevant half equations and E o values for the
production of chlorine from the reaction between K2Cr2O7 and HCl. ..so to produce chlorine it must be oxidized from its ionic form..and from the answer to iii. i think i'm right..u check it once..and ask some others too ..
