to yarr jo Oxygen produce ho rhi hai reduction say, wo kahan jaye gi? :OMnO4 + HCL will produce H2.
H2 will go in the pyrex tube and react with the lead oxide.
The excess H2 is burnt off.
This also decreases the probability of tube bursting.

Don't let yourself down.I feel like im gonna fail in paper 5 ....
The key here is 'monobasic'and 'dibasic' acids.
Mono basic = 1H+
Dibasic = 2H+
So in the table, the volume will be same i.e. 25.0 cm^3
The concs will be 2, 1, 2, 2, 1 respectively.
I would suggest that u solve some of the papers and compare it with the mark schemes . u can also see some solved p5 .if u need them ,pm me ur email address , i'll send them to u! (they r solved by me)
